Psychotherapy Services

  • This is an opportunity for you to meet and greet your therapist, and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. During this time, your therapist will listen to your concerns and explain how they can help you. It's a chance for you to get to know your therapist and determine if they are a good fit for you. We believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for a successful therapy journey, so we encourage you to take advantage of this free consultation.

  • Individual psychotherapy is a form of therapy that is conducted one-on-one between a therapist and a client. These sessions typically last 50 minutes and are focused on working through emotional and psychological difficulties. The goal of individual psychotherapy is to help you gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to develop skills for managing your mental health symptoms. By meeting with a therapist regularly, you can experience greater self-awareness and emotional growth.

  • Many extended health benefits plans cover a portion of psychotherapy services. It is your responsibility to ensure coverage and coordinate reimbursement from your insurance provider. It is best to confirm with your provider in advance if your plan includes coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist or a Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario).

    We do not offer direct billing, but provide a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider.
